The Nubian Experience:

A wonderful trip into the heart of Nubia, the land of secrets and history. A chance to discover a magnificent part of our beloved Egypt.

This trip is one of the Ecotourism trips which has become quite common these days with the understanding that every action we take affects, usually negatively, the world, it will take you into the depth of the beautiful city of Aswan with as little negative effect, and maybe even adding some positive effect, as possible.

We will be accommodated in real Nubian house located on one of the islands between the old Aswan dam and the high dam, where we enjoy typical local food for breakfast and dinner.

Trip includes:

-        Transportation from downtown Aswan to the island of Hissah.

-        Accommodation in a Nubian house on half board basis "breakfast and dinner"(drinks are execluded)

-        Full day trip on the lake Nasser , including a wonderful boat ride into hidden canyons and lunch (main course local fish)

-        Full day trip by boat to the magnificent temple of Isis “Philae temple”, and a trip to the village of Gharb Sohil for lunch and to explore the village.

-        Transfer from the Island of Hissah to downtown Aswan.

Starting from 1500 Egyptian pounds per person Excluding tickets to Aswan (either air or train) and drinks the trip

Notes:

We can provide the booking for the air or the train tickets as well as direct transportation to and from the island for groups upon request.

Useful advice:

ü  The weather of Aswan is warm and mostly hot during the day, yet there is a great drop in temperature after the sunset especially near the water and in the open area. Please be prepared with suitable clothing.

ü  The tab water is not recommended for drinking, though it is safe to use for showers.

ü  We recommend nice walking comfy shoes
